The pageant that transforms the women of South India from a conformist mindset to a more progressive, determined and achievement oriented outlook. It is our 8th year, we are celebrating South India ’s largest talent hunt for brain and beauty. Miss South India the idea was conceived by Pegasus the event makers have turned the life of many girls around the world.

Pegasus was established in the year 2000 as a proprietary firm. Initially the firm was into the event management alone. The idea of conducting beauty pageants under the title Miss South India was conceived in the year 2002 and the said title was crowned for the very first time in the same year. Miss South India was the first pageant down in Kerala that led to the opening of South Indians brain and mind.

“We don’t charge a penny from the contestants. It’s a training school for them were we mould the bold and beautiful to the pageant winners. This Pageant is our (mine and Jabi’s, my wife) second kid.This year we have decided to bear the expenses of the heart surgery of two kids at Sunrise hospital, said Ajit Ravi, chairman, Pegasus event makers.
16 contestants will walk the ramp on grand finale to be held in Le Meridian , Cochin
The grooming sessions started on third of November 2010. These sessions will consists of yoga, meditation, personality development, catwalk, beauty tips, Photo shoot, Interaction, Talent search, etc… This will help the contestants to enhance their strengths and overcome their weaknesses. Grooming section will be completely handling the culture and tradition of South India . The girls are groomed by an expert panel of fashion choreographers and trainers - Mr. Arun Ratna Fashion Runway, Mr. Sameer Khan Elite Model management; Ms. Valentina Mishra Valen’s Model Management, Mr. Jayagopal Personality Development trainer and Mr. Jaison Paulson Jaison Fitness First.
The stage for the eve is designed by Mr. Jossy George, creative Head of Creattio and made it to the reality by the team headed by Mr. Diliip of Akshay inco. The hand made Ribbon for the contestants, sub titles and title winners are designed by Mrs. Christeena Jomy, MD of X’tina’s design.

The winners will be getting a gold plated crown designed by Mr. & Mrs. Prakashan Parakkat. The title winner will win a Lakh rupee, the first runner up with Rs.50, 000/- worth gift and second runner up with Rs.25, 000/- worth gift.
Apart from the title winners, the other subtitles to won are Miss Beautiful Hair, Miss Beautiful Smile, Miss Beautiful Skin, Miss Beautiful Face, Miss Beautiful Eyes, Miss Congeniality, Miss Cat Walk, Miss Perfect 10, Miss Talented and Miss Photogenic. The four sequences includes the designer saree round, Casuals, Black & black and Linen wear designed by famous NRI fashion designer Mr. Sajimon Parayil.
The event consists of three and a half hour programme with four sequences and cultural extravaganzas. Former Miss India and actress Ms. Swetha Vijay, Tamil Actress Ms. Aditi Chibber, Telugu Actor Mr. Kaushal Prasad, Famous Model Ms. Simer Mottiani, Famous model groomer Mr. Manish Khullar, Famous media personality Mr. Vijay Babu, Famous Fashion Designer Mr. Sajimon Parayil and Famous media personality Mrs. Thoshma Biju will Judge the event.
The event will be directed by Mr. Ajith Ravi PEGASUS, Founder and Chairman of PEGASUS.
