Psychological thrillers are hard to conceive and harder to execute,because the margin of error is pretty negligible. Arun Kumar Aravind's 'One byTwo', scripted by Jeyamohan is thus a bold attempt. Acomplicated plot which seeks to unravel the complex mental make up of twocharacters and by extension those around them.It is not straight forward story telling , but a multi layered approach basedon the strength of the characterization of the protagonists.It did bristle withenormous promise, but fails to bear fruit fully and some outstandingperformances prove to be the sole saving grace.

It was a horrible movie.. I expected alot from the crew. But after first few scenes, Its extremely irritating especially murali gopi's over acting(sometimes i felt he is like santhosh pandit who want to become self proclaimed super star) and Fahad got a loose role which couldnt exploit its potential. Eventhough cocktail is copycat movie i enjoyed it as i never watched it in english. But this movie is too disappointing. here after i won't go for a Arun kumar/murali gopi movie without reading reviews :(. 7th day is much better

DeleteLoved this movie, as this is a psychological thriller only like minded people will like it. Murali Gopi's performance as a physic person is extraordinary. Background score is well done for the movie by Gopi Sundar and it has proved to be a great value add for the movie. Those who like change should defiantly watch this.
ReplyDeleteWow what a movie. Not for casual viewing. Dont mind the negative reviews it is getting. The movie is just rocking. Not single comedy/masala scene. It is very intense from the first shot itself. And dont bother the disappointed fahad fans in the theater... ;)
