Krrish 3 Movie Review

Krrish 3 Movie Review

The essential premise of any super hero movie is the oft seen
confrontation between virtue and evil. Rakesh Roshan's desi avatar
Krish 3,of the ultimate super hero we have grown up seeing in
Hollywood is just a pale replica. It is almost a scene by scene rip
off from many Hollywood movies when it comes to those breathtaking
stunts.

Krrish 3
Rohith the eminent medico scientist works tirelessly towards
his endeavour to eliminate deadly diseases from the face of earth. His
son Krishna the disguised super hero Krish and his wife Priya
comprises a happy family. The father son duo portrayed by Hrithik is
the highlight of the movie.

The antagonist Kaal(Vivek Oberoi) is a bestial and evil
incarnate hell bent on unleashing destruction. He epitomises the
quintessential villain and he creates mutants named Manwar to carry
out his mission of spreading an epidemic to wipe out humanity. Kaal is
aided by Kaya a ravishing Kangana Raut in his evil endeavours.

The expected confrontation ensues between the superhero and the
ultimate villain. How Rohith makes use of Krish's super human powers
to confront and rein in the designs of Kaal is what the narrative all
about. It is high voltage and unearthly action from start to end with
emotional strands thrown in to make it look like a Bollywood movie.
The climactic scenes dont have the cutting edge and they dont provide
seat edge thrill which should have been the USP of a movie of this
sort.

Hrithik stands tall literally amidst the ruins with a power
packed performance. He is the life blood of the movie whereas Vivek
Oberoi doesnt ooze as much conviction as one expected. Kangana scores
as the voluptous Kaya while Priyanka has nothing much to do except
dance to the tunes of some inept songs.

The script is conspicuous by its sheer absence while Roshan
senior's fertile imagination and directorial felicity aided by some
out of the world VFX effects make the movie a one time watch.
Considering the fact that a whopping Rs. 250 crore was spent on this
aimless venture, a few bucks could be shelled out just to watch it as
a visual spectacle. Kids unexposed to Hollywood masterclasses may lap
it up!
