Rahasya Police Malayalam Movie review

Rahasya Police is a suspense thriller by K. Madhu starring Jayaram, Samvrutha Sunil, Sindhu Menon and Ananya released today with above average audience attendance. Rumoured to be based on Peter Sellers 'The Pink Panther' series, It's going to be a double treat for Jayaram’s fans as the actor will be seen in a double role as an honest, funny cop and a goon called Chalai Mani in the film. Veteran Siyad Kokker is producing Rahasya Police. Veteran director K. Madhu and writer S.N. Swamy who have earlier given some of the best investigative thrillers, have yet again teamed up for a murder investigation thriller Rahasya Police, starring Jayaram and three heroines Samvrutha, Sindhu Menon and Nadodigal fame Ananya, apart from Mangala and Shivani who are there to increase the glamour quotient. When K.Madhu S.N Swamy team re-joins with a crimefull suspense story, audience will normally expect a excellent thriller, but this time the team was never upto the expectations. In this movie, the skills of hit team is fully expired and falters here in need of a sketchy script.. K.Madhu's last suspense thriller Naadiya Kolapettaratri was an average movie, but RahasyaPolice keeps only suspense in its title only. The main highlight of this murder mystery movie will be the different roles of Jayaram. He will be appearing as the investigative officer S I Rajan, and a local Goonda Chalai Mani, who is on a secret mission. The film thread based on a girl missing case and its investigation. K.Madhu tries to put some tricks like double climax, but the viewers is getting bore at many scenes. Even dialogues has not much punch which apt to investigative movies. The same can be said about the supporting actors like Harishree Ashokan, Suraj Venjarumoodu, GaneshKumar, Sudheesh, Jagathy Sreekumar. Though K.Madhu tries hard to infuse some comedy scenes with the help of actors Harishree Asokhan and Suraaj , but it does not boost the morale of the film. The story does not inspire them to perform and all the lead actors seem to be sleepwalking through their part. For those few who took the feel and hange on the the edge of the seat very well realized shortly that nothing is happening, as no great twists is waiting round the corner. In short, RehasyaPolice has much wanting and leaves you disappointed.
